okie dokie in case you didn't catch it in my previous blog I will be in mexico from the 16th to the 26th, so I will be gone for ten days.  Don't worry though I'll have all my mods and admins on the server to answer any questions while your on the server.  As long as there isn't a minecraft update to 1.7 there shouldn't be any problems as far as the state of the server goes, it auto restarts if it crashes but it will revert to the latest saved version of the server map (saves every 15 minutes so it should be fine). 

If you do decide to donate while I'm away please be patient and wait for me to come back and set up your rank, it goes without saying that your time won't start until you become the rank on the server that you purchased.  Also if you do donate please send me either an email with your paypal information or a buyers letter with your minecraft name so I know who to add the rank to.

I know its been a while and I promised more of these but I just get very forgetful harp on me about it and I'll give you more updates with less time in between.  anyways basically if you didn't know already I'm a college student and with that "title" I comes all the things the go with it.  which means I have to do FINALS and exams and essays and all this junk.  So right now its almost the end of the semester so basically I won't be on much for the next week.  Yes I'm sorry I'm not super man and I certainly can't be in two places at once as much as it seems like it.  While I'm busy studying and such my moderators and admins will be happy to help you with whatever you need! 

Another thing I'll be gone a lot the month of june I will be back packing/going to mexico (a week and 1/2)/camping etc... yeah I'll be busy so I'm sorry but I won't be here much june either.  Like I said though my admins and mods will be perfectly willing to help everyone!

I feel like there has been a lot of "hacking" and item spawning going on lately so I have been really cracking down on people for it, no its not okay to spawn items if your not gold or diamond donators, no its not okay to have a flying mod you will be jailed (except for diamond, but only because I havn't found a good server flying plugin) these are the rules.  Yes I can see your inventories and yes I can delete items in your inventories and I have, if I find a person with more than a stack of diamond for example, that isn't a donator I will take it away, I don't care if it was given to you by a donator or is you've spawned it using a "hack" I'm going to take it away, and if your going to get mad at me for that so be it.  No I probably won't ban you if you start insulting me I'll give you a second chance but if it continues I will most likely jail and mute you until you come around and talk to me appropriately.  I've also been finding chests full of diamond blocks and such, I mean do you honestly think that I'll believe that you mined over 1000 diamond blocks... No I will take stuff like that away.  I know this will make a lot of you mad, but its not fair for everyone else who is playing by the rules while some imature people think its okay to cheat and spawn items or fly etc..

I discourage gold and diamond giving items to people just we can avoid a huge amount of these problems but I won't stop you I'll just continue taking away duped items. 

As you should most likely know there was a huge update to the 1.4 minecraft.  this is awesome and all but causes billions of problems for me.  the server was down for 2-3 days for that update.  then once plugins started updating I decided to update them all which caused major problems with conflciton and old plugins trying to be boss.  anyways dynamap caused the server to restart again and again so I got rid of that plugin for now.  so servers was working fine.  but then the 1.4_01 update came out and I needed the bukkit update.  unfortunetly the bukkit server which provides all the updates (repository and what not) crashed and was down for 3 days.  I tried to contact my server provider to see if he happened to get an updated craft bukkit but he didn't respond.   I eventually fixed by updating it manually myself after bukkit got their rear in gear and got their servers back up.  So I'm sorry for so much down time. theres wasn't anything actually wrong with the server it was running just no bukkit to run the server itself.  If your wondering when the server is down I am not taking off time for donators so I'll give you all about another week on top of what you have.  unfortunetly its so disorderly right now (for me) that you'll probably get an extra month anyways :P.  Feel free to tell me if your times up though :P.  

other cool things though are the TWCS live plugin list on the bar to your right, click on that and you can see a list of plugins being updated live, check it out it has links to all the plugins, status, when it was updated and info on the plugin. 

another really really cool thing is I've started an outreach type thing for other ethnicity's I want the server to be friendly to all languages.  So what I've done is joined an italian forum post which appernetly unknown to me had already added my server on its forum lol.  so thats cool so I decided I might as well join the forum and see whats up in Italy.  I linked their forum in the "links" page but I'll link it here too. its called NosTrucchi.  So if your interested in that sort of thing feel free to invite some people from there.

Also AceOfSpider has attained Admin rank, no this doesn't mean everyone I see can become admin,  Ace knows what he's doing with programing configureing plugins and coding stuff.  Just for example his latest programing feat he made is on our forums here.  check it out its called the mc what2do application.  Its really neat!

Another thing done is DannyCraft is officially online with a dedicated server check his server out, we got his status up on the side bar over there ----->

Please note that not all plugins are fully updated nor configured so please give it time before all the commands are back working perfectly.  Ace and I are working on this also we're looking for new plugins to make the server more entertaining and user friendly.  Please please please send me an email if your a member on the website and not on the server or if there are commands that aren't workign for you that should be working!

Okay hopefully I got everything in there, theres been so much going on that I seriously doubt it.  oh and I just thought I'd give this a quick mention but when the website reaches 500 members there going to be a surprise (I can't wait!) and I think you'll all enjoy it!

I know its kind of a weird time for bloging usually I do it about once a month but I thought I'd give ya a small update. 

1st I have been really distracted lately because it is midterms for me so I haven't been able to work on things as much.  This coming week is spring break though so I should get a lot done during then. but midterms didn't hold me back to much, I fixed rank commands I got kits working my programmer got the serverport and the coal plugin working so you now upgrade to coal automatically after you mine 3000 blocks and total up 8 hours of gameplay.  You may have noticed that you can talk to people in the other servers now too so thats cool :D.

Also I made another contest for street naming check it out there is all the info you'll need, I'll be judging soon so get your houses ready!

Alrighty I've got a lot of questions about the new map well heres your answer... Its just a temporary map because of the update to beta 1.3.  When beta updated it outdated my mod (bukkit).  What does that mean for you... well it means that there isn't anything protecting your houses from being grifed or spontaneously catching on fire.  So I thought it'd be a good Idea to put up a temporary map, don't you?  If your interested when bukkit will update heres the bukkit website link: http://bukkit.org/

Well... I was attempting to make this a short update but there are actually lots of stuff to talk about. 

Recently I've been looking for partnerships with people and I'm actually talking it over with peace server (minecraftr server) purechocolate, shadowcraft, possibly samkios server and I know theres a few more I just don't remember :P.  But if you know anyone else whos an owner of a server let me know and I'll check them out and see if they're interested in a partnership!

Alright heres the basics of whats been going on hopefully I can get it all in but its been such a long time since the last blog that I'm not sure I'll cover everything. 

okay first things first, the map has been changing around a lot which is do to a lot of different things. 1. Minecraft.net was down for a long time 2. the hey0 mod which was the mod I had been using is no longer being updated so soon as beta updated I had no more hey0 mod which means I had no protect, antigriefing or anything period which also means I had to change maps because I didn't want the good map to be griefed.  3. The map has been changing constantly on account of people griefing. The good news though is that I have a new mod called "bukkit" which is different than hey0 but there are more or less the same plugins from hey0which allow me to protect places and stop the griefing.  I am sorry for map swapping hopefully my server provider will restore the correct map I want and then I won't ever need to change it after that.  hoorah!

The other thing that happened which is super awesome is that I've finally hired a plugin designer/plugin manager for the server which means stuff will now actually work how they're suppose to and this person can design custom plugins for the server if needed.  He was just hired today so hopefully soon we'll get the ball rolling and cranking out some awesome stuff for the server! If you have any ideas for things to implement put them on the server suggestions topic in the forums.

I'm sure theres more but I can't think of anything at the moment, if you have any questions please feel free to comment on this blog.  Me and the programer will be working on fixing plugins and getting ranks and stuff working again soon as we can.  I hope you all are having a wonderful time on the server and I'll keep the updates coming!

Apparently Bass is working on a theme song. I have some musical ability (I CAN sing but lack good recording equipment, however I can do a decent job putting together a nice techno sound using Fruityloops, Musiccreator5 and a few other things, but I lack any experience in MIDI, sequencing, mixing, or drum beats. I could put something together and write some lyrics if anyone had the singing capacity (or knew how to use autotune and a MIDI sequence) and could make something sexy up - I have quite a bit of experience writing lyrics so I could at least provide the words and melody (assuming we all like techno and that it is the music of minecraft, which it is.).

Anyone with experience listed above, please say so and if we have the persons interested in it, I'll start a little something, at some words and pass it on to the next more talented person.

well I thought I'd let you guys know what the going ons are.  firstly and most obviously is that there was an update (der) anways this update is super annoying because the person making the mod I was using before the update quit.  which means all the configuring and everything i've done on the modded server is completly useless now because the old mod doesn't work with the new update.  soooooo hmod (the mod i was useing) is now being taken over by "bukkit" which is a new completely different mod so theres going to be a lot more work ahead of me soon.  as of now bukkit still hasn't updated their mod to be compatible with the new minecraft update but they will probably have it ready sometime tomorrow, so sometime hopefully tomorrow the server will be back up again.  But once it comes up I won't have all my mods so sorry for the donators who bought ranks.  Soon as I get a chance I will get the plugin equivilants of what each different donator rank has untill then though please be patient.

Alright what else... oh yeah! good news actually I will be moving on to a new node which means no more randomly disconnecting server probably no corrupted files anymore plus I'm getting the full amount of ram that I was suppose to be having the whole time which is the difference of a 30 slot and a 50 slot which is about 1gb of dedicated ram if you want to get technical about it.  Anyways thanks for reading everyone I'll probably send an email blast to everyone once twcs server is up.  While you wait you can enjoy twcsjr its still up and running just fine   Bye everybody!

Okay heres some updates unfortunetly the forums have been "griefed" but I put all the important things back up working untill almost 2:30 am to finish it but it is done so I am happy <-- see :P. 

But in more positive news I've gotten the vanilla server up, its only 10 slots and a bit laggy but when theres only a few people on its plenty of fun.  Still deciding weather i want to restart the map every month/week or so.  Tomorrow I should have all the warp gates up which link the two servers.  Also another feature is that the chat will transfer instantly over both servers and so will your inventory if you decide to warp to a different server so yes you could buy a cheap diamond pick on the modded server then go play on the vanilla if you wanted.
